Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer

Connex is looking to grow its Salesforce Implementation vertical by hiring a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer to, design and develop robust Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions (Email Studio, Social Studio, Live Message etc.)

Responsibilities

Your responsibility is to understand the customer’s business requirements, design, and configure the desired solution.

  • Responsible for driving deeper level technical requirements by leading discoveries during the sales process to scope and estimate projects
  • Architect technical and business solutions to match client needs
  • Support statement-of-work creation and estimation process
  • Provide technical coaching, syndication, and development to other Business Development and Solution Engineer team members
  • Develop, present and deliver high impact demonstrations of Traction solutions and coordinate/facilitate all presales activities
  • Work with external account executives to prioritize sales opportunities
  • Maintain lead/account/opportunity updates within salesforce.com to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of potential solutions to all client levels up to “C” level executives
  • Maintain technical expertise in salesforce.com platforms to stay current on ever-evolving technologies

Requirements & Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience working with marketing automation technologies, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud (required), Sales Cloud, and Pardot (ideal)
  • 3+ years of supporting experience on the salesforce.com platform (Sales/Service, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of direct marketing concepts, especially as they relate to email marketing
  • Knowledge of mobile, social, web, online advertising / retargeting, and ecommerce are definite assets
  • A thorough understanding of marketing /sales pipeline practices and KPIs
  • Experience in either B2C or B2B environments
  • Strong business acumen combined with a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies and a broad understanding of SaaS technologies, and solutions
  • Experience with the project delivery lifecycle (project planning, solution design, build, QA, UAT, training and deployment)
  • Marketing Cloud/Pardot scoping, complexity analysis, and estimation experience
  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant required
  • Certifications in Pardot and Sales Cloud ideal
  • Post-Secondary in the following areas is preferred: Business Administration, Marketing Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training/experience
  • Effective communicator both internally and externally – a customer advocate with excellent listening skills to fully understand customer requirements and pain points, and excelling in delivering client-facing presentations
  • Strong consultative skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and passionate about producing quality work and solving challenges
